Cinco De Mayo

The covered patio and member's lounge was decorated by our social committee with a Mexican flair. We were celebrating Cinco de Mayo, but it was really an excuse for us to have a party, put on a great taco bar and drink foaming frozen margaritas!!

Cash For Cans

The first haul resulted in 200 lbs of cans for $40.60 which will be applied to the HDTV fund. Thank you for all that participated and please continue to drink at the club and bring your cans from home.

Members Lounge Grand Opening

The evening started off with Redman grilling hamburgers and hotdogs and boy, did they smell good. The golfers finishing up their rounds found them hard to resist. All in all 60 hamburgers and 18 hotdogs were cooked and not one was left over!!

After dinner it was into the new lounge for some spirited games of pool. At first, quarters on the table designated who would play next. The back up became so long, a list of "who played next" was put on the back of the door. Rumor has it....the best in the house are Gerald Reynolds, Ronnie Carter and Jerry Thompson. So if you decide to play these guys.....well let's just say you better bring your "A" game.

For those waiting for the pool table, the new golf game proved to be quite a challenge and lots of fun. We over heard the machine talking... "he is not as good as he thinks he is!", "he's on the dance floor" and "that ball needs to get up"...one other was..."he is going to hurt somebody with shots like that!"

Going Green for St. Patrick's Day

Everbody was getting kisses at this year's St Patrick's Day Party even if you did not want one. The evening was a festive one with green beer, Irish snacks, music and dance. The rueben sandwiches were a hit! A big thanks to the decorating and social committee. The club looked great!!

Super Bowl Party

What a turn out we had for what turned out to be a great game...over 50 members came out to see the game and we raised over $160 for the HDTV fund. The $3.00 per person covered some good barbeque, suasage, weeneies and members brought sides and desserts. We had door prizes throughout the night.

Karaoke in January

Cold weather did not stop this group.
Another great get together for singing, dancing and of course drinking. Louise stepped up our sound system with her own speakers and wireless microphones. We had some new participation with solos, duets, trios and when in doubt...the whole group.

MGA New Year's Eve Party

Decorations looked great thanks to Linda, George, Barbara, Kat and Missy. The stars were flashing, the ball was spinning and the excitement of the New Year was all around. Of course, our festivities would not be complete without our "Pot Luck" tables. Once again there was a wide assortment and I know no one went home hungry as there was a lot of food left. It must have been because of the free drinks? Here are a few more pictures of the decorations and eats...

After the eating started (which was as soon as the food was put out), Terry started to bust out the tunes and can he sing!! The night was complete with the electric slide and dancing of all sorts and styles. Some have been captured below. We did not see baby new year ....maybe next year?

Christmas Party

Who says HHCC cannot throw a great "Christmas" party. With almost 100 signed up, nothing turns this group out like a good "pot luck"!

Kenny Kopf brought the music and Danny Davis provided the sound system right out of the trunk of his car (it has been in there since the Paris trip!!).

It was a great time had by all and "Christmas Cheer" was in the air thanks to
decorating by Linda and George Kemper, Barbara and Redman Pounders and Rebecca....of course the alcohol did not hurt either. Below is a slide show from the night. Some have been edited for content..ha! and you know who you are....

Friday Night Happy Hour

A few of our members enjoying HHCC's Happy Hour. We had 25 or so this night enjoying conversation (mostly about the club) and drinks.

A few of our members after a tough day at the office? Did I say office....I meant tough day on the golf course. It is tiring looking for balls all afternoon

The night was complete with snacks compliments of Dr. Mike.

Karaoke Crazy

A great big "Thank You" to Louise Brewer for running our karaoke last night. It turned out to be a fun filled evening with over 60 people there. The evening started off with mostly solos and before the night was done we had some great choruses going. After "Karaoke Crazy" ended came "Dance Fever".

The group was on the floor dancing until after midnight. The night was not complete until we heard from "The Village People"

Check out more pictures.
